| Hi Folks,
I know...it has been a very long time again. Honestly, I have been really busy. Working, moving, traveling, baking, and everything else.
A few months ago, my friend Jodi informed me that she needed a vegan cake for her upcoming wedding. So, being the adventurous (and ridiculous) person that I am, I volunteered. Hence, the wedding cake below. Not bad for a first, eh? I didn't realize quite how much time it would actually take. I practiced different recipes for months and finally settled on an egg replacement concoction that lived up to my expectations. The night before the wedding Christin and Caroline came over to help with the baking festivities. LOL. We put the first cake in the oven at around 11:30 pm and finished the last one at around 3:30 am. A word of counsel to the wise: don't wait until the night before to make the wedding cake.
Here it is!!

This one shows the lemon/raspberry layers. :) mmmm....

| So, after many agonizing hours at work yesterday (of checking and re-checking my status with the Tennessee Board of Nursing website and trying to figure out my password on the pearsonvue webpage and then not having the call-in 900 number work on my phone and on top of that running around like a crazy woman taking care of patients), I FINALLY got my "unofficial" results off of the pearsonvue/NCLEX website, for a small charge of $8.95.
After all of that hassle, I saw only 4 letters for my "Grade:" P-a-s-s. I guess that's really all I wanted to know, but I really wanted it to look more like this:
:) :) :)PASSED!!!!! :) :) :)
Thank you, Lord!
